We’re NuTune, a new music education app designed to help musicians of all levels learn, practice, and perfect their scales in a user-friendly and easy to use digital environment. NuTune is a great resource for music students, teachers, and musicians of all ages and skills. Imagine us as a music-oriented Yoda, a far-out guru you can come to when you need to master a new skill, perfect an existing one, or help others hone their craft. Whether you’re learning your first scale, preparing for an exhibition in a packed auditorium, or teaching the next generation of creatives, we’ve got you.
Like music, we’re driven by our community. While our application is focused on technical improvement, our blog is a place for everything. We’ll ask big questions here, and we hope you’ll ask big questions as well. The NuTune Community Blog is a place for discussions, musings, ramblings, and everything in between. You’ll find articles ranging from speculations on the emotional benefits of musical proficiency to nitty gritty pieces where we dive into the neuroscience behind some of music's most fascinating and mysterious powers. You want to know who we think would win in a no-holds-barred cello duel between Yo-Yo Ma and Yo Mama (probably Yo-Yo Ma but we can’t say for sure)? Ask Away.
